Nowadays, virtually anyone can fly anywhere for the price of a bag of crisps. And don’t get me started on the ozone layer, global warming and everything else to do with, well, what we all have to take seriously. Except China, India and the USA that is.
Anyway, back to budget priced flights.
What else can be blamed for this auction? I mean, if this UK eBay seller hadn’t been able to visit the Salvador Dali museum in Florida, we wouldn’t have this auction inflicted upon us, would we?
What this seller couldn’t have known, however, is that ants played a very important part in Salvador Dali’s life.
You may have wondered how Dali’s moustache remained jet black until the day he died. I did some expert Googling and, sure enough, I discovered that Dali used a special darkener which he dabbed on his facial hair. And, guess what? The primary ingredient in this home made concoction was - yes, you’re right - crushed ants!
So, if you want to immerse yourself in history, you might want to bid for this bag of ants.
Or, if the price starts creeping up. Like it might go up to as much as three or even four pounds, then you might as well fly to Florida, buy your own bag of ants from there, and still have change for a night out when you get home!
